Privacy policy

This site is for parents and guardians. We do not ask children to create accounts or give us their information directly. A parent or guardian registers on their child's behalf.

• When you register: your name, email and mobile number; your child's name and grade; the kind of laptop they will bring; whether they need a kit; and any notes you choose to add (such as allergies).
• Optional: how you heard about us, a referral or credit code, and anything you send through the contact form or the waitlist and interest forms.
• Payment: your card is entered on Stripe's secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record that you paid, the amount and the dates.
• Visits: basic, anonymous visit statistics (which pages are viewed) so we can see what helps families find us. If you arrive through one of our marketing links, we remember the link's name in your browser so we can tell which flyer or post worked.

• To register your child, hold their spot, take payment and send confirmations and reminders.
• To contact you about classes, schedule changes, payments and the family page.
• To run the referral program, so a friend's code and your credit can be matched.
• To improve how we reach families, using the visit and “how did you hear about us” information.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to show you ads.

We use a small number of services to run the program. They only process data for us:

• Stripe for card payments and automatic weekly-class payments.
• Resend to send our emails.
• Vercel to host the website, and to measure anonymous visits.
• Supabase to store registration records.
• Calendly if you choose to book a free consultation. Their form collects what you type there.

We will share information if the law requires it, or if needed to keep a child safe.

Only our team can see registration details. Your exact class address is sent only to registered families. Your child's name is never shown on this website. Your family page is private and can only be opened with its personal link.

We only photograph or film students for our website, social media or flyers with a parent or guardian's permission. You can say no, and you can change your mind later.

We keep registration records for as long as needed to run the program and for our tax and payment records. You can ask us to delete your family's information, except what we must keep for payment records.

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we have about your family, or stop our emails, by contacting hello@sparkobotics.com. If you want us to stop automatic weekly-class payments, see our refund policy.
